Shipping and Receiving Associate

We are seeking an highly organized, friendly and detail oriented shipping associate at our Deer Park, NY studio. Hours can be somewhat flexible. We’re primarily looking for 3-4 days per week, 5-8 hours per day. For the right candidate, we would consider full time hours. We are a small team, working hard to stay on top of a pair of growing businesses. We're looking for someone who can work well with that team and also operate independently. It's a fast paced atmosphere with a creative, off-beat crew. Our studio creates sculptures and theme park props, restores original movie props & costumes and makes officially licensed Star Wars and Indiana Jones creations. Key Responsibilities: Pack and prepare customer orders Processing orders with carriers such as UPS, Fedex and USPS Fulfill wholesale orders including palletizing larger orders Tracking and coordinating incoming deliveries Customer contact emails / phone calls and high level customer care. Maintain inventory of items for sale and supplies Maintain a clean workspace Occasional running of local errands Responsibilities may shift over time and we're a small studio where everyone is expected to pitch in as needed. Candidates must: Have strong attention to detail and organizational skills Be able to multi-task and operate at a fast pace Be able to lift up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods Have excellent communication skills, including email and phone.
