Shipping and Receiving Associate

We are currently seeking a Shipping and Receiving Associate to join our growing Burnaby Shipping Department. Responsibilities: · Picking, packing and product movement from the warehouse · Pack, seal and label materials to prepare for shipping · Maintain shipping and receiving area by ensuring a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations · Package and prepare finished products for shipping. · Prepare documents such as work orders, bills of lading and shipping orders to route materials · May determine shipping method for materials, using knowledge of shipping procedures, routes and rates · May contact carrier representative to make arrangements and to issue instructions for shipping and delivery of materials · Examine shipment contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices or orders to verify accuracy of shipment · Adhere to shipping and receiving policies/procedures, and regulatory compliance procedures · Assistance with bindery functions as required · Assist in the production off various print lines Requirements: · High School Graduate or equivalent · 3+ years of Shipping and Receiving experience preferred · Experience in a Print Production environment or within a warehouse is preferred · Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. · Experience with pallet jack, and/or forklift an asset · Excellent communication skills. · Strong leadership skills · Ability to in a fast-paced environment · Ability to stand for long periods of time · Ability to work independently and as part of a team. · Familiarization with Excel & shipping receiving software is an asset With a current staff of 200, and further plans for growth, Westkey is an industry leader on the move, with the key values of sustainability and integrity in all of our practices.
