k, collaboration, and efficiency are at the core. As a Shipping and Receiving Associate, you will play an essential role in ensuring the smooth movement of products and optimizing warehouse processes in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
Role and Responsibilities:
The Shipping and Receiving Associate is a key player in maintaining efficient and safe warehouse operations. In this role, you will:
• Unload and load products in a timely and efficient manner to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
• Pick, pack, and prepare products for shipment while adhering to quality standards and deadlines.
• Reorganize, sort, and stack items to enhance workflow and maximize efficiency.
• Ensure the warehouse is clean and organized, following safety guidelines and company protocols.
• Perform general housekeeping tasks to maintain a tidy, safe, and well-organized work environment.
• Assist with additional tasks such as freight handling and conducting audits as directed by supervisors.
• Adhere to safety standards and company policies while performing all tasks.
Required Skills and Experience:
• A motivated individual with a strong work ethic and dedication to maintaining high productivity.
• The ability to consistently lift and move materials weighing 25-75 lbs, depending on the task.
• Prior experience in warehouse operations or with equipment handling is beneficial but not required—training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Comfortable working in a physically demanding, fast-paced work environment.
• Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in a warehouse setting or familiarity with warehouse operations is preferred.
• Ability to operate warehouse machinery, such as forklifts, is an advantage.
