Shipping and Receiving Associate

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Associate to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving incoming shipments, preparing outgoing orders, verifying inventory, and ensuring that products are handled accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Key Responsibilities Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage. Verify incoming and outgoing orders against invoices, packing slips, and shipping documents. Prepare, pack, label, and process products for shipment. Load and unload trucks, trailers, and delivery vehicles safely. Organize and maintain inventory in designated warehouse areas. Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment. Update inventory records and maintain accurate shipping and receiving documentation. Coordinate with warehouse staff, drivers, and supervisors to ensure timely deliveries. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow company procedures and workplace safety guidelines. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience is a plus but not required. Basic computer skills and ability to use inventory or shipping systems. Ability to read and understand shipping labels, invoices, and packing slips. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication and time management skills. Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift. Comfortable working in a warehouse environment. Ability to safely operate basic material-handling equipment.
