Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Associate Reporting To: Director of Supply Chain Role Definition: We are looking for a hardworking and responsible individual to join our growing and dynamic team in logistics and inventory. Responsibilities: Ensure that all shipping activities are completed on time, including meeting shipping schedules, standard packing requirements, and customs documentation Manage all logistics operations, including inbound and outbound shipments and resolving any related customs issues Receive incoming raw material in the ERP system by verifying counts, part numbers, and labels. Offload inbound shipments manually or with equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks. Maintain and manage the warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks, forklifts, docks, and compactors Ensure a clean and safe work environment is maintained Participate in physical inventory counts. Perform other duties as required. Objective: Ensuring that all outgoing shipments are processed efficiently, accurately and in a timely manner. By coordinating with carriers, maintaining detailed records and adhering to safety and quality standards, the shipping clerk aims to ensure on-time delivery, maintain accuracy, support operational efficiency, enhance customer satisfaction and promote a safe workplace. Qualifications: 1 year of warehouse experience. Lift truck license is an asset. Computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and data entry are an asset. Capable of physical labor, multitasking, and working on your feet daily, regularly lifting or moving objects of up to 50 lbs. Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment. Self-motivated individual able to work under pressure and autonomously. Team player with the ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
