Key responsibilities Receiving Unload inbound trucks and parcel deliveries; check counts against the packing list and purchase order. Inspect incoming material for damage, wrong parts, missing certifications or labeling, and flag discrepancies to purchasing the same day. Receive material into the ERP system (JobBoss2) so inventory and open POs stay accurate. Label, put away and stock received items in their assigned bin or rack location. Route material needed for open work orders directly to production. Picking and packing Pick customer orders and work-order components from pick tickets, verifying part number, size, length and quantity. Pack orders to protect product in transit, choosing the right carton, crating, coiling or dunnage for hose and fittings. Include packing slips, certifications and any customer-required paperwork or labeling. Keep pick and pack areas organized and stocked with packaging supplies. Shipping Prepare outbound shipments by UPS, FedEx, LTL freight and customer will-call. Create shipping labels and bills of lading, weigh and measure packages, and schedule freight pickups. Process shipments in the ERP so orders are invoiced and tracking is recorded. Prioritize same-day and expedited orders and communicate delays to sales or customer service. Help prepare paperwork for international shipments when needed. Inventory and general Take part in cycle counts and the annual physical inventory. Report low stock, damaged goods and location errors. Operate pallet jacks and forklifts safely (certification provided if needed). Keep the dock and warehouse clean, safe and organized. Help production or other departments as workload requires. Qualifications Required High school diploma or GED. 1+ year of shipping, receiving or warehouse experience. Strong attention to detail; able to match part numbers, sizes and quantities accurately. Basic computer skills for ERP transactions, carrier software and email. Able to read a tape measure and basic paperwork (packing lists, POs, bills of lading). Reliable attendance and the ability to work independently. Preferred Experience with an ERP or inventory system (JobBoss2 a plus). Experience with UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager or LTL freight booking. Forklift certification. Familiarity with industrial hose, fittings or similar MRO products. Physical requirements and working conditions Regularly lift and carry up to 50 lbs; team-lift heavier items such as hose reels. Stand, walk, bend, reach and climb step ladders for most of the shift. Work in a warehouse environment with dock door exposure. Follow all safety procedures for material handling equipment and sharp or cut hose ends.
