Shipping and Receiving

**Overview:** We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. This position is responsible for ensuring the efficient movement of goods and products from the warehouse to the customer, while also managing inventory levels. The ideal candidate will have experience with warehouse management systems and forklift operation. **Duties:** - Receive and inspect incoming packages, verify orders against delivery notes, and report any discrepancies. - Process and organize packages for shipping, ensuring accurate labeling and timely departures. - Operate a forklift or reach truck to retrieve stock from the warehouse shelves for order fulfillment. - Use an order picker to retrieve stock from higher shelves for order fulfillment. - Manage inventory levels by conducting regular stock counts and reporting any discrepancies to management. - Utilize a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track and manage inventory levels, and to optimize warehouse operations. - Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to all safety regulations and best practices. - Assist with order fulfillment by picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently. - Participate in e-commerce order fulfillment, including receiving and processing packages from online orders. - Collaborate with other team members to achieve shipping and receiving goals. **Experience:** - Previous experience in a shipping and receiving role, preferably in a warehouse setting. - Knowledge of warehouse management systems and their applications. - Experience with forklift operation and other heavy equipment. - Familiarity with order fulfillment processes and e-commerce logistics. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity. - Strong organizational and attention to detail skills. - Physical stamina to lift and move heavy packages, as well as climb ladders or operate equipment.
