Shipping and Receiving

Applied Power Products is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our team. This position plays an important role in ensuring materials and products are received, handled, stored, and shipped accurately and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Receive incoming shipments, verify quantities, and inspect materials for accuracy and damage. Pick, pack, label, and prepare customer orders for shipment. Verify outgoing shipments against sales orders and shipping documentation. Load and unload trucks using forklifts and other material-handling equipment. Organize and maintain inventory in designated locations. Assist with inventory counts and investigate shipping or receiving discrepancies. Coordinate with customer service, purchasing, and operations to ensure timely order fulfillment. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping and receiving area. Follow company procedures for material handling, packaging, and shipment preparation. Perform other warehouse and operational duties as needed. Qualifications Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or material-handling experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to read and follow packing slips, purchase orders, and shipping documents. Basic computer skills and ability to learn company systems. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Forklift experience preferred; training may be provided. Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic. Join Our Team!
