Shipping and Receiving

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient flow of goods in and out of our warehouse. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving processes, and will be proficient in using various warehouse management systems. You will play a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring timely order fulfillment. Responsibilities Manage the shipping and receiving processes, including loading and unloading shipments. Utilize RF scanners to track inventory movements and maintain accurate stock levels. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks safely to move products within the warehouse. Process incoming shipments by verifying contents against packing lists and purchase orders. Prepare outgoing shipments by packaging products securely and labeling them correctly. Assist with order picking, packing, and fulfillment for e-commerce orders. Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency. Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse distribution processes. Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking and reporting. Perform basic math calculations for inventory counts and order processing. Qualifications Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is preferred. Familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures, order fulfillment, and stocking practices. Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS) such as AS400 or similar software. Experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately pick & pack orders. Basic math skills for inventory management tasks. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards. Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
