Shipping and Fulfillment Associate - Retail E-Commerce

Infinite Spiral Gems & Jewelry is an e-commerce business located in Newburgh, ME. We sell crystals, minerals, fossils, gemstones, and jewelry to customers around the world. We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented team member to join our shipping and fulfillment department. Our work environment includes: On-the-job training Casual work attire Relaxed work environment Consistent weekday schedule Opportunities to learn and take on additional responsibilities The Position This position is focused on accurately and efficiently processing customer orders from our online stores. The work involves handling individual mineral specimens and other small items, pulling inventory, packing orders, and preparing shipments. We are looking for someone who is organized, dependable, comfortable with repetitive hands-on work, and pays close attention to detail. Accuracy is extremely important, as many of our products are small, similar in appearance, and individually inventoried. Responsibilities Pulling and accurately matching items to customer orders Weighing and measuring items as needed Carefully packaging crystals, minerals, fossils, jewelry, and other products for shipment Printing shipping labels and preparing packages for shipment Following established shipping and packing procedures Maintaining an organized and efficient shipping area Locating inventory using our SKU and bin system Checking orders for accuracy before shipment Handling products carefully to prevent damage Learning and following our inventory and fulfillment procedures Using computer systems to process and complete orders Maintaining a clean and organized work area Communicating questions or discrepancies when they arise What We're Looking For Excellent attention to detail Dependable and consistent attendance Ability to stay focused while performing repetitive tasks Good organizational skills Ability to work efficiently while maintaining accuracy Comfortable using a computer and learning new software Ability to follow detailed procedures Good communication skills Ability to work independently as well as as part of a team Ability to stand, bend, reach, and perform repetitive hand movements throughout the workday Ability to safely handle small and fragile items We provide on-the-job training.
