SHIPPING AGENT
TRIVAD, INC.The Shipping Agent is responsible for receiving, shipping and final delivery of all goods sold by Trivad, Inc. The primary goal is to provide flawless delivery service to our customers by ensuring all orders are delivered on time and complete. Must have knowledge of shipping best practices and experience with standard and freight couriers, especially UPS and FedEx shipment management systems. Will need excellent communication skills with the sales team, purchasing and freight/courier services. Must be a proactive and independent worker. Must be well organized to manage 20+ shipments inbound and outbound daily. Orchestrate drop shipments requesting shipping cost quotes, processing, and communicating shipment reservations. Maintains our customer database with accurate and timely shipping updates and tracking information. Coordinate returns with Accounting and Vendors. Maintains a clean and well supplied shipping room. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, for 50% of the day. The employee must frequently lift, push, pull and/or move items up to 50 pounds, occasionally more. Proficient with Microsoft Office and Outlook.
