Shipping Administrator

RANS Designs is seeking a Shipping Administrator in our Shipping Department. Our Shipping Administrator is responsible for picking and packaging aircraft parts orders and getting them ready for shipment. RANS uses Inventory Control software and handheld scanners to streamline the shipping process. Applicants with handheld scanner and/other relevant experience will be highly preferred. Responsibilities: · Pick, weigh, package, and label aircraft parts for orders and/or aircraft kits · Accurately scan and record parts in the inventory control system as they are picked and packaged · Maintain a clean work area · Properly and safely use packaging materials such as tape, staples, scissors, etc. · Communicating with your supervisor to ensure the correct parts are being picked, while addressing any concerns/questions you may have · Perform validation of pack lists to ensure order picking accuracy, i.e. correct quantities Skills/Qualifications · High School Diploma or GED Certification preferred, but not required · Relevant experience working in a related field · Basic math and computer application skills, i.e. Microsoft Word/Excel, e-mail and postage software, etc. · Ability to stand for long periods of time · Capable of lifting as much as 80 pounds · Basic knowledge or experience in working with manufactured products and assemblies is a plus · Good organizational and communication skills Compensation and Benefits · Compensation is commensurate with experience. · RANS offers a competitive benefits package including BCBS Health and Dental insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement Plan, AFLAC Supplemental Insurance, PTO (Paid Time Off), and Paid Holidays.
