Shipper/Receiver/Material Handler

Pegasus Glass is looking for a dependable, organized, and motivated Shipper/Receiver/ Material Handler to join our team. We are a growing manufacturing company with a close-knit team, and we’re looking for someone who takes pride in keeping things organized, accurate, and moving. This is a physical hands-on position that plays an important role in ensuring incoming materials are received correctly, and our finished products reach our customers accurately, safely and on time, while keeping our production lines stocked for producing. The Opportunity Manage the day-to-day movement of incoming materials and outgoing finished goods, helping keep warehouse operations organized and production lines supplied. Key Responsibilities · Receive shipments; verify quantities against packing slips and purchase orders; inspect for damage or discrepancies. · Record and put away received materials accurately. · Pick, prepare, pack, label, strap, wrap, and stage customer orders for safe, accurate shipment. · Prepare shipping documents and maintain accurate records. · Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments with the Operations team. · Safely load and unload trucks, including some manual hand unloading. · Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and pump carts. · Maintain organized inventory and storage areas; assist with counts and investigate discrepancies. · Identify and store finished goods correctly; promptly report shortages, damage, and shipping issues. · Keep the shipping/receiving area clean and safe, follow company procedures, and assist warehouse or production teams as needed. Qualifications · Previous shipping/receiving or warehouse experience. · Ability to lift up to 70 lb and safely move materials in tight spaces. · Strong organization, accuracy, reliability, and attention to detail. · Comfort with computers and learning inventory/ERP systems. · Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple shipments, and communicate with coworkers, supervisors, carriers, and drivers. · Ability to speak, read and write English · Comfort working in a manufacturing/warehouse environment. · Knowledge of weights, dimensions, and pallet preparation. Assets · Forklift experience; certification is an asset. · Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar inventory software is an asset, but not required. Why Join Pegasus?
