Shipper / Receiver – Industrial Manufacturing

Sector Energy Ltd. — Calgary, AB Sector Energy Ltd. is looking for a dependable and motivated Shipper / Receiver to join our growing team in Calgary. This is a hands-on role in an industrial fabrication and manufacturing environment. You will play an important part in keeping piping materials, components, and finished products moving efficiently through our facility. We offer: Competitive pay: $25–$30/hour, based on experience Monday–Friday schedule with consistent 8-hour shifts Benefits package A strong safety culture where safety comes first A stable, full-time position with an established company A hands-on work environment with opportunities to learn and develop new skills A team-oriented workplace where reliability, initiative, and quality workmanship are valued The opportunity to work with industrial materials, steel, pipe, and fabricated products What You'll Do Receive incoming materials, parts, and supplies and verify quantities and condition against purchase orders and shipping documents Load and unload trucks safely using forklifts and other material-handling equipment Prepare finished products and materials for shipment Package, label, and secure products appropriately for transportation Coordinate pickups and deliveries with carriers, couriers, and suppliers Complete shipping and receiving documentation accurately Maintain organized staging and storage areas Maintain accurate material records Identify and report damaged, missing, or incorrect materials Work closely with the shop, purchasing, and office teams to ensure materials are available when required Maintain a clean and organized shipping/receiving area Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements Assist with other shop and material-handling duties as required What We're Looking For Previous shipping/receiving experience in a piping facility is a must Forklift experience; valid certification is an asset Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good organizational and time-management skills Ability to read and understand shipping documents and purchase orders Comfortable working in a busy industrial shop environment Ability to safely lift, move, and handle materials Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic Good communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks Experience handling steel, pipe, fabricated components, or industrial materials is an asset Safety First Safety is a at Sector Energy.
