Shipper/Receiver/Forklift Operator

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipper/Receiver to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the warehouse distribution process, ensuring that all incoming and outgoing shipments are handled efficiently and accurately. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Shipping & Receiving Coordinate daily outgoing shipments and incoming deliveries Inspect, verify, and document incoming and outgoing inventory Ensure accuracy of packing slips and purchase orders Inventory Management Maintain inventory records and perform regular stock counts Organize inventory in storage areas and shop Notify management of low stock or discrepancies Logistics Coordination Schedule and coordinate pickups with couriers and suppliers Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries Administrative Support Assist with adhoc administrative tasks such as filing, labeling, and data entry Update tracking systems and documentation as required Shop Maintenance Keep shipping/receiving areas and the shop clean and organized Dispose of packaging and waste materials appropriately Experience Prior experience in a shipping/receiving or warehouse role (preferred) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (training available) Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly Good communication skills and basic computer literacy A team player with a proactive attitude A commitment to maintaining safety standards while operating equipment.
