Shipper/Receiver/Forklift Operator

Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Shipper/Receiver & Forklift Operator to join our team. This is a hands-on role responsible for inbound and outbound shipments of equipment and parts and supporting day-to-day warehouse activities. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, organized, comfortable working independently and has very strong attention to detail. Duties: Perform general physical activities in the warehouse; loading, unloading equipment and parts manually and using material handling equipment (forklift, pallet jack, rolling safety ladder). Load and unload trucks and containers safely using a forklift and other material-handling equipment. Receive incoming equipment and parts shipments and verify quantities against packing slips and purchase orders. Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage or discrepancies. Prepare equipment and parts for shipment, including packaging, labeling, and documentation. Create and process shipping documents, including Bills of Lading (BOLs), packing slips, and courier paperwork. Coordinate pickups and deliveries with transportation companies. Assist with maintaining accurate inventory records. Organize and store inventory in designated warehouse locations. Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized warehouse. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in shipping/receiving and warehouse operations with valid forklift certification RF scanner experience Experience and comfort moving large pieces of equipment is strongly preferred (e.g., larger pallets have equipment that is 84” x 34” x 84”) Previous experience with setting up a new warehouse would be an asset Able to lift and move materials up to 70 lbs Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Reliable, safety-minded, and willing to take ownership of daily responsibilities Basic computer skills, including email and inventory systems Excellent customer service skills on the phone, by email and in person Pay: $49,920.00-$56,576.00 per year Benefits: Casual dress Extended health care Paid time off Work Location: In person
