Material Handler – 1 position available Shift Times: Monday – Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm (Subject to change with notice) *** Please note clean background check is required prior to offer of employment (Arranged and cost reimbursed by Pride Mobility) *** Job Summary: · Involved with the receiving and unloading of Large products · Involved with inventory and records · Involved with stocking shelves · Involved with Picking and Packing orders Duties and Responsibilities: · Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) · Prepare documentation using Pride’s Good Documentation Practices · Adhere to and advance Lean manufacturing/material handling objectives · Follow and complete prioritized duties · Ensure work area is always clean and safe · Aid as required, whenever, and wherever within the Pride organization · Become very involved in the evolution of our production process · Other duties as required, or assigned Required Skills: Once on the job, be able to demonstrate ongoing the ability to, · Be a team player, professional, detail-oriented, and honest · Have a positive attitude, and exemplary attendance · Be disciplined to overachieve expectations · Multi-task, problem solve, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment · Lift up to 50 lbs · Have strong computer skills · Have strong verbal and written communication skills · Agree to become certified in Fork Lift operation Preferred Skills: · Active Forklift training certification Salary · Starting Salary is $36,608 · Upon successful completion of 90-day probationary period, with Great performance, Salary is increased to $39,520 · Salary is reviewed and with good performance, increased yearly thereafter Benefits · Health and Dental benefits are provided for Employee and Dependents upon successful completion of 90-day probationary period · RRSP Matching Program is provided upon successful completion of 90-day probationary period Paid Time Off · For Years 1-2 of Employment: 10 days Paid Vacation Time · For Years 3-4 of Employment: 15 days Paid Vacation Time · For years 5+ of Employment: 20 days Paid Vacation Time Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: From $36,608.00 per year Benefits: Casual dress Dental care Disability insurance Extended health care Life insurance On-site parking Paid time off RRSP match Vision care Ability to commute/relocate: Beamsville, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Work Location: In person
