Shipper/Receiver

Superior Farm Equipment Ltd. brings together the rich legacies and expertise of Rite Way Manufacturing and Morris Equipment Ltd., two western Canadian companies dedicated to providing quality, performance-based equipment for farmers worldwide. We are recruiting to fill a Shipper/Receiver position who can work well with and without supervision at a production pace to join our team at our Manufacturing facility in Regina, SK. The shift is Monday - Thursday, 10 hour shifts. Job Duties Receives all incoming goods verifying quantities received against quantities shipped on packing slips. Completes Return to Vendor forms when shipping purchased goods back to vendor. Issues all parts and supplies to dealers and records transactions on the appropriate work order. Responsible for the packaging and shipping of goods via mail or courier as required. Ensures that all returned or warranty parts are returned to inventory so the dealership recovers full credit from the factory. Works with the plant managers to ensure availability and timely turnaround of parts needed for production Assists in analyzing departmental operations and storage layout and revises as needed for maximum effectiveness. Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity Ensure compliance with company standards for cost control, waste reduction, product quality, and safety standards. Perform Other Duties as Required Requirements High School Diploma plus a two-year technical educational program, or equivalent relevant experience Demonstrated mechanical aptitude Computer literate Demonstrated team leadership abilities Ability to work independently in a busy environment. Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment. Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing Able to work well under pressure Strong attention to detail Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times Additional Requirements (can be attained after hiring) · Forklift license · WHMIS training Work Conditions Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Regular light physical effort (bending, reaching, carrying light items, walking, standing) Regular heavy physical effort (carrying, lifting or pushing heavy items) Regular reading of documentation and work on computer screens Regularly dealing with simultaneous multiple demands which must be attended to immediately Occasional (i.e. during the spring planting season) peak periods requiring an accelerated work pace over which you have no control, or deadlines creating pressure Overtime as required.
