The Opportunity: We are seeking a Shiper/ Receiver & Delivery Driver to join our team. This position owns the full lifecycle of material flow—from receiving raw materials to delivering finished millwork to site. This is not a passive shipping role. You are accountable for organization, accuracy, and ensuring all product leaves and arrives in install-ready condition. What leaves our shop needs to arrive on site exactly as intended—clean, complete, and damage-free. You are the final checkpoint before the client sees our work. We’re hiring someone who can own that process. This role combines shipping/receiving, inventory control, and delivery. If you’re just looking to “move boxes,” this isn’t it. What You’ll Do · Ensure all incoming and outgoing shipments are accurate, on time, and damage-free Coordinate all incoming and outgoing shipments of materials, hardware, and finished millwork Receive and inspect all deliveries for quantity, quality, and accuracy against purchase orders Safely operate forklift and other material handling equipment for loading, unloading, and internal material movement Inspect all outgoing product for cleanliness, completeness, and quality Ensure product is free of dust, glue, markings, or defects prior to shipment Wrap, protect, and palletize product using appropriate materials and methods Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular cycle counts Drive a 5-ton truck and pickup/trailer to job sites Ensure all product arrives damage-free and install-ready Keep the shop and yard organized and efficient Other shop duties as assigned What You Bring Experience in shipping/receiving or a manufacturing/shop environment Valid Class 5 driver’s license with clean driver’s abstract Experience driving a 5-ton truck and towing a trailer Valid forklift certification with hands-on operating experience (required) Experience in millwork, cabinetry, construction, or manufacturing environments preferred Strong understanding of load securement and material protection Physically capable of lifting and moving heavy materials Strong attention to detail—mistakes cost time and money here Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment Reliability and accountability—you own your role If you take pride in doing things right—and fixing problems before they happen—you’ll fit here. Ability to sit, stand and walk for extended periods. Schedule Day shift, Monday to Friday Compressed work schedule with every 2nd Friday off, as structured below. Week 1 – Monday to Thursday from 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM, and Friday from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM (44 hours); Week 2 – Monday to Thursday from 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with Friday off (36 hours), allowing employees a three-day weekend every other week.
