Shipper/Receiver
5M PFF```Duties``` - Receive incoming shipments and verify the contents against the purchase orders - Unload, unpack, and inspect incoming materials for damage or defects - Sort and organize received items in designated storage areas - Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling items according to customer orders - Operate order picking equipment such as order pickers and reach trucks to retrieve items from high shelves - Perform basic math calculations to ensure accurate quantities and measurements - Load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment and safety procedures - Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment ```Requirements``` - Previous experience as a shipper/receiver or in a similar role preferred - Familiarity with order picking processes and equipment such as order pickers and reach trucks preferred - Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures, including order fulfillment and packaging - Basic math skills for accurate counting, measuring, and calculating quantities - Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods of time - Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in receiving, sorting, and shipping items - Excellent organizational skills to maintain an orderly warehouse environment Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
