Shipper/Receiver

Matheson Valves & Fittings Ltd. (MVF) Full-Time | Permanent Matheson Valves & Fittings Ltd. is looking for a reliable, organized and hands-on Shipper/Receiver to join our team. We are an industrial distributor specializing in valves, fittings, automation and related products. This position plays an important role in making sure our customers receive the right products, in the right quantities, properly prepared and on time . Responsibilities Receive and inspect incoming shipments Verify products and quantities against purchase orders and packing slips Report shortages, damages or discrepancies promptly Pick, pack and prepare customer orders for shipment Verify orders carefully before they leave the warehouse Prepare courier and freight shipments and required documentation Coordinate pickups with couriers and transportation companies Label and organize incoming inventory Maintain an organized, clean and safe warehouse Assist with inventory counts and stock organization Work closely with the sales and office teams on customer orders and urgent shipments Perform general warehouse duties as required What We're Looking For Previous shipping, receiving or warehouse experience is an asset Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic Strong attention to detail and accuracy Organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks Comfortable working independently and taking initiative Basic computer skills Able to safely lift and handle industrial products Comfortable working in a hands-on warehouse environment Good communication and teamwork skills Forklift experience is an asset Experience with industrial products, valves, fittings or MRO distribution is an asset, but not required The Right Person for MVF We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their work .
