Shipper/Receiver

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Shipper/Receiver to join our dynamic warehouse! In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing the inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, and maintaining smooth warehouse operations. Duties Receive incoming shipments by unloading trucks using a forklift, verifying quantities against packing lists and purchase orders. Prepare outgoing shipments by picking orders accurately, packaging products securely, and labeling shipments correctly. Operate warehouse equipment such as forklift, and pallet jacks safely and efficiently to load and unload materials. You must hold forklift certified training. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment by adhering to safety protocols and conducting regular inspections. Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock replenishment to ensure accurate inventory levels for distribution needs. Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse distribution processes, improve order fulfillment times, and support overall operational efficiency. Qualifications Proficient in reading and writing in English. Eligible to work in Canada for more than 1 year. Previous warehouse experience is highly preferred; familiarity with shipping & receiving processes is a plus. Valid forklift certification. Strong understanding of order picking, packing techniques, and load & unload procedures. Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments accurately. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Good communication skills and the ability to follow safety guidelines diligently.
