Shipper/Receiver

This position is full-time and offers the right candidate lots of fresh air and exercise while working in our yard and covered shipping enclosure. Specific Duties Transfer of finished goods trailers from production carts into the designated outdoor yard storage locations. Keeping track of trailers in assigned storage locations ensuring trailers are stored properly and/or staged efficiently for loading. Responsible to load trailers & parts into the assigned shipment stacks for dealer pickup, or to load trailers & parts onto third party carrier's semi-trailer for dealer delivery. Ensure trailers & parts for each shipment are properly loaded and secured. Maintains accurate records and provide regular updates to team regarding status of incoming & outgoing shipments. Communicate regularly with production, customer service, and others involved in the shipping/receiving process. Unload incoming parts for trailer manufacturing. Inspect forklift, crane, and associated equipment on a daily and advises of any maintenance or safety issues. Uses all required PPE appropriately. Organizes and completes required yard cleaning duties. Other duties as assigned. Experience & Background Pay rate depends on qualifications/experience, we offer training for the right individual. Forklift and/or crane experience is an asset. Good organizational and communication skills. Knowledge of heavy goods transportation and/or equipment loading.
