Shipper/Receiver

Thunder Tool & Manufacturing Ltd. is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipper/Receiver to join our team in Etobicoke on Day Shift. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, preparing, and shipping materials while helping ensure accurate inventory handling and the smooth flow of daily warehouse operations. We are looking for someone who is organized, dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Lifting and Moving: Repeatedly lift and move packages and materials weighing up to 50 lbs (23 kg). Inspecting Shipments: Inspect incoming shipments for damage, shortages, and discrepancies, and report any issues. Labelling and Documentation: Accurately label packages and complete shipping and receiving documentation to ensure proper tracking. Operating Equipment: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment as required. Coordinating Pickups and Deliveries: Arrange and coordinate carrier pickups and deliveries to support timely shipments. Maintaining Safety: Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area. Material Handling: Organize and move materials within the facility to support production and shipping requirements. General Warehouse Duties: Assist with other shipping, receiving, and material-handling tasks as required. Qualifications Previous experience in shipping, receiving, warehousing, or a manufacturing environment is an asset. Ability to repeatedly lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs (23 kg). Strong attention to detail and accuracy when inspecting shipments and completing documentation. Good organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious. Forklift experience and a valid forklift operator certification are assets. What We Offer Competitive hourly wage of $19.00–$21.00 , based on experience.
