ion, and maintain a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse environment while working closely with a small, collaborative team.
Responsibilities
• Review daily job requisitions to prioritize and organize outgoing shipments based on urgency and importance.
• Pick orders accurately and stage products for shipping, with a focus on items for the fire alarm division.
• Coordinate with couriers throughout the day to ensure products are shipped and received correctly and on time.
• Use a forklift, including reach and sit-down equipment, to move, load, and unload products safely around the warehouse.
• Perform shipping and receiving tasks, including checking incoming goods, verifying quantities, and documenting shipments.
• Handle material loading and unloading, ensuring products are packed securely and prepared for transport.
• Use RF scanners and basic computer applications to track inventory, process orders, and update shipping and receiving information.
• Support inventory control activities by organizing stock and assisting with inventory checks as needed.
• Assist with purchasing and ordering-related tasks, including working with purchase orders when required.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with team members and couriers to resolve issues and maintain workflow.
• Apply First Aid level 1 knowledge if required and contribute to maintaining a safe working environment.
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines, demonstrating a strong commitment to safety as a top priority.
• Collaborate with a small warehouse team, going above and beyond when needed to help partners and colleagues succeed.
Essential Skills
• At least 1 year of logistics experience in order picking, shipping, and receiving.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with couriers and team members and documenting activities.
• First Aid level 1 certification.
• Certification on reach forklift equipment.
• Experience with shipping and receiving processes, including packing, loading, and unloading materials.
• Ability to operate sit-down forklifts and perform material handling tasks safely and efficiently.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Experience in ordering products and working with purchase orders.
• Experience with Oracle systems.
• Experience with cloud-based data management platforms.
• Forklift certification beyond reach equipment.

Work Environment
This is a full-time day shift role, working Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in a 3,500 square foot warehouse alongside two other team members. Approximately 60% of the work involves warehouse and forklift duties, while about 40% involves computer-based tasks and coordination with couriers. The environment is strongly safety-oriented, with clear procedures and expectations that safety remains a top priority. The culture is highly team-based, where employees support one another and are willing to go above and beyond to help their partners succeed.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00
