Shipper and Receiver

Job Title: Shipper / Receiver
We are looking for a reliable and organized Shipper/Receiver to join our team. The ideal candidate is hardworking, detail-oriented, and willing to help out wherever needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick up freight or call on freight for ETA if needed
- Put stock away
- Deliver parts (_check all parts to invoices_)
- Get goods boxed up and ready to ship out daily
...
- Charge forklift as needed
- Maintain batteries (cycle charge first of every month)
- Wash the vehicles when dirty
- Keep vehicle clean on the inside
- Maintain all vehicles fluid levels (check every month)
- Take all outgoing mail
- Sweep & mop store front everyday
- Sweep & mop back of store when needed
- Make sure shipping desk & work bench is tidy and clean
- Make sure all walkways are clean of snow / ice / debris
- Recycling and cardboard boxes must be done on Friday
- Make sure garbage is done on Friday
- Stock front shelves and batteries when needed every week
- Call customer to remind their parts are here every Thursday
- Water flower beds everyday (summer)
- Operate forklift to load and unload freight
- Get returns and cores ready on skid to go back once have the RGA paperwork approved
- Perform job tasks which are asked to do by co-workers
• Requirements:*
- Valid driver's license
- Forklift experience is an asset (or willingness to learn)
- Ability to lift heavy parts/freight
- Organized, punctual, and able to work independently
