Aerotec Engines Ltd.Coordinate small aircraft engine and parts packing and shipping operations through parcel and less than truckload (LTL) carriers. Will also work collaboratively with various teams documenting and moving parts and engines. Duties/Responsibilities: Complete shipping documentation accurately and consistently Work cooperatively with internal departments to meet organizational objectives Securely pack and load shipments to customers Ship parcel packages through UPS, FedEX and Purolator web-based portals Coordinate larger packages with Day and Ross and Traffic Tech Meet annually with shipping companies to review rates and any issues Communicate tracking information with customers Input shipping information using an internal Enterprise Resource Planner (ERP) system Communicate with vendors regarding repaired parts documentation Prepare repair orders for parts being shipped Prepare shipping quotes for sales team Review tracking numbers on shipments to identify delays Follow up with shipping companies to address issues as required Communicate internally shipping delays, lost freight, or damage to goods Complete claims with freight companies for damaged goods Monitor and communicate shipping and tariff rate increases and decreases Skills Required: Ability to use various hand and specialty tools Capable of remaining focused while performing repetitive tasks Ability to use digital resources Organization Literacy Ability to identify deficiencies Ability to operate a forklift (training and certification provided if required) Physical capability to sit, stand and lift up to 50lbs if required Working Conditions: On site, business hours 8:00am - 5:00pm Use of hand and specialty tools Use of computers Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00-$21.00 per hour Benefits: Dental care Extended health care Paid time off Ability to commute/relocate: Beaver Bank, NS: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred) Work Location: In person
