Shift Supervisor/ Bartender
Hunting Hills Country ClubPosition Summary Hunting Hills Country Club is seeking an experienced and motivated Shift Supervisor/Bartender to join our Food & Beverage team. This position is primarily focused on evenings and weekends , with occasional morning shifts as needed. The ideal candidate will have strong bartending skills, excellent customer service abilities, and the leadership qualities necessary to help oversee front-of-house operations during their shift. As a Shift Supervisor/Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to members and guests while supporting daily restaurant and bar operations, assisting team members, and ensuring a smooth and professional guest experience. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to club standards. Demonstrate knowledge of classic and specialty cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits. Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area. Assist with inventory management, stocking, and replenishment of bar supplies. Support front-of-house operations and assist servers, hosts, and other team members as needed. Provide leadership and direction to staff during shifts. Ensure members and guests receive prompt, professional, and friendly service. Handle member concerns and resolve issues in a professional manner. Assist with opening and closing duties, including cash handling and daily reconciliation procedures. Secure the facility and lock up the clubhouse/restaurant at the end of assigned shifts. Maintain compliance with all ABC regulations, health standards, and club policies. Support club events, tournaments, banquets, and special functions as needed. Qualifications Previous bartending experience required. Knowledge of basic cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits. Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions during shifts. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Food safety certification preferred. Responsible alcohol service certification preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds. Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift. Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Schedule 20-35 hours per week. Primarily evenings and weekends. Occasional morning shifts as business needs require. Flexible availability preferred, including holidays and special events.
