Shift Manager

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Shift Manager to lead our retail team through dynamic daily operations. As a pivotal member of our management team, you will oversee store activities during your shift, ensuring excellent customer service, efficient inventory management, and smooth operational flow. Responsibilities Supervise daily store operations, including sales activities, customer service, and staff performance during your shift Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and merchandising to optimize product presentation and availability Lead hiring, employee orientation, training & development initiatives to build a high-performing team Oversee cash handling, cashiering, POS systems operation, and payroll processing to ensure accuracy and compliance Conduct interviewing and recruiting efforts for new team members to support store growth and staffing needs Implement pricing strategies, sales promotions, and merchandising plans to drive retail sales and meet targets Maintain effective communication with staff regarding operational updates, company policies, and customer service standards Skills Proven experience in retail management or supervisory roles within the retail industry with a focus on sales team management Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory management and bookkeeping Proficiency in POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic math for daily financial transactions Effective communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual capabilities are highly desirable Skilled in negotiation, purchasing, and operational management to maximize store profitability Experience with employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, training & development programs Knowledge of retail math principles including pricing strategies and sales analysis Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of customer service Familiarity with wireless sales or grocery store experience is a plus but not required Join us as a Shift Manager where your leadership drives success!
