SHIFT LEADER

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and motivated Shift Leader to join our dynamic retail team! As a Shift Leader, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth daily operations, delivering exceptional customer service, and leading our sales team to success. Your leadership will help create a positive shopping environment while driving sales and operational excellence. Duties Oversee daily store operations, ensuring all activities run efficiently during your shift Lead, motivate, and supervise team members to achieve sales goals and deliver outstanding customer service Manage inventory levels, stock replenishment, and merchandising to optimize product presentation Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure a positive shopping experience Assist with employee orientation, training, and development to foster a high-performing team Conduct interviewing and recruiting activities to onboard new staff members Utilize POS systems for sales processing, cash handling, and transaction accuracy Monitor store safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures Manage scheduling, payroll processing, and basic bookkeeping tasks for your shift Support operational management including purchasing, pricing strategies, and inventory control Experience Proven supervisory or managerial experience within the retail industry or sales team management experience Demonstrated skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, and recruiting Experience with POS systems, cash handling, inventory management, and retail math Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate teams Knowledge of retail store product lines including grocery or general merchandise is preferred Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer bases effectively Prior experience in operational management such as budgeting, merchandising, stocking, or wireless sales is advantageous Familiarity with retail industry sales techniques including pricing strategies and customer service excellence Join us as a Shift Leader where your leadership fuels success!
