Duties Lead and supervise daily store operations during your shift, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. Manage customer interactions with professionalism, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and enhancing overall shopping experiences. Oversee inventory control, including stock replenishment, merchandising, pricing adjustments, and loss prevention strategies. Handle cash register operations, including cashiering duties, cash handling accuracy, and POS (Point of Sale) system management. Coordinate employee schedules, assign tasks, and monitor team performance to foster a productive work environment. Conduct interviews for potential new hires, participate in recruiting efforts, and assist with onboarding and training of staff. Ensure compliance with company policies regarding payroll processing, bookkeeping, and store safety protocols. Support marketing initiatives by promoting sales events and maintaining attractive product displays aligned with merchandising standards. Skills Strong leadership skills with proven experience in supervising teams within retail or similar environments. Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for engaging diverse customer bases. Proficiency in retail math for sales management, pricing strategies, budgeting, and inventory valuation. Skilled in negotiation, conflict resolution, and employee orientation to motivate staff effectively. Experience with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail sales techniques. Knowledge of inventory management software and stock control processes to minimize shrinkage. Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting. Demonstrated organizational skills with the capacity for time management and prioritization during shifts. Familiarity with recruiting practices including interviewing techniques and onboarding procedures. Strong customer service orientation combined with phone etiquette and professional demeanor.
