ConfidentialShift Lead – Starbucks Coffeehouse Location: 5 McCollum Station, Newnan, GA 30265 Job Type: Full-Time | Up to 40 hours per week We are looking for a dependable, motivated, and customer-focused Shift Lead to join our Starbucks team in Newnan, Georgia. The ideal candidate will support daily coffeehouse operations, guide team members during shifts, maintain excellent customer service, and help ensure that company procedures and operational standards are consistently followed. The Shift Lead will play an important role in keeping the coffeehouse running smoothly, maintaining a clean and organized environment, and supporting the team in delivering a great customer experience. Key Responsibilities Lead and support team members during assigned shifts to ensure smooth daily operations. Open or close the coffeehouse according to established procedures, including preparing the store for business, securing the premises, and completing opening or closing duties. Help coordinate shift activities, assign tasks, and ensure responsibilities are completed efficiently. Provide guidance and support to team members while maintaining a positive and professional work environment. Deliver excellent customer service and resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally. Ensure beverage and food preparation, service, and product quality meet established standards. Monitor staffing and communicate scheduling or coverage concerns to management promptly. Assist with inventory management, stock replenishment, and proper product rotation. Receive deliveries and help organize and store supplies appropriately. Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked front-of-house and back-of-house area. Ensure the coffeehouse remains up to date, operationally ready, and compliant with company policies, food safety requirements, health regulations, and applicable local and state standards. Follow established procedures for opening or closing, cash handling, cleanliness, and equipment care. Support the training and development of new team members and reinforce standard operating procedures. Communicate shift updates, operational issues, inventory needs, and team concerns to management. Take initiative to identify and address operational issues and help maintain efficient workflow during busy periods. Qualifications Previous experience in coffee shops, food service, retail, or hospitality is preferred. Previous team leadership or shift supervision experience is an advantage. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to guide a team, multitask, and remain calm in a fast-paced environment. Reliable, punctual, professional, and accountable. Strong commitment to customer service, cleanliness, food safety, and quality standards. Willingness to learn, take initiative, and support team members as needed. Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required. What We Offer Full-time employment with up to 40 hours per week. Tips in addition to hourly wages. Paid training.
