Service Truck Mechanic

Job description Golden Arrow Transportation requires a full-time Service Truck Mechanic for the Fort McMurray Location. This position has a rotation of 14 days on/14 days off. Reporting to the Shop Manager, you will work in a fast-paced environment maintaining a fleet of School Buses and Motor Coaches. Golden Arrow offers an above average work environment with an emphasis on safety and training. To qualify for the Mechanic position, you must be a reliable self-starter with strong interpersonal skills. Must be a Fort McMurray resident. Position Requirements: Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician Ticket Valid (or willing to obtain) class 1, 2 or 3 driver's license with airbrake endorsement Pre-employment drug & alcohol testing Shift work required – 14/14 As a mechanic, your duties are as follows: Maintenance/repair of motor coaches CVIP Inspections Respond to breakdowns Spring and winter maintenance Other duties as assigned by Shop Manager Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Camp provided Pay: $54.74 per hour License/Certification: Journeyman Heavy Duty Ticket (required) with CVIP Work Location: In person Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: Up to $54.74 per hour Benefits: Dental care Extended health care Application question(s): If you are not a Fort McMurray resident, are you planning on relocating?
