Our Carrier Transicold branch at 2700 South 88th Street, Kansas City, KS is hiring a Service Technician – Mobile Refrigeration. You'll do mobile repair at customer locations and get on-the-job training in a development program to reach Service Technician status. What you'll do - Perform preventative, contract and scheduled maintenance on customer equipment using a mobile service vehicle - Repair basic refrigeration, fuel systems, electrical systems, microprocessors, cooling systems and general maintenance - Troubleshoot unit problems - Promote and sell mobile service to potential customers - Advise the Shop Foreman when more repair work is needed - Attend training sessions and meetings - Provide excellent customer service and follow safe work practices What you need - Good working knowledge of Carrier and Thermo King unit operations - Self-starter who can manage your own time - Ability to communicate effectively with customers about mobile service Benefits $20–$50/hour based on skill set and experience · Medical, Dental and Prescription Insurance · Disability and Life Insurance · Paid Time Off program · 401k and Profit Sharing with Employer Match · Flexible Spending Account · Internal Promotion Opportunities · On the Job Training This is a safety-sensitive position.
