About Us Air Filtration Systems, LLC based in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, is a second-generation, family-owned business that provides installation and support for industrial and commercial air filtration equipment. About the Role We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Service Technician to support our field services, inventory, and shop operations. This is an in-person role based in Pawtucket, RI. This role involves local travel and being on customer sites for various time periods until the job is done. This role is critical to ensuring our service teams are prepared, our customers are supported, and our equipment is maintained and ready for the field. This role has potential to grow in a Service Tech lead where you will head up your own service crew as the company grows. How You'll Get it Done Prepare and pack equipment and materials for service jobs Load and unload trucks before and after service visits Ensure service vans are stocked with necessary spare parts and supplies Conduct repairs and service work for customers Perform electro-static filter changes at customer sites. Training will be provided. Perform installations alongside the installation team Complete pre-service checklists and post-service work orders Coordinate warranty claims and send relevant information to internal contacts Process and ship customer orders accurately and on time Submit shop supply orders (e.g., Uline) through internal systems Perform some inventory management and assist in restocking Organize and maintain shop cleanliness and order Ensure weekly service materials are cleaned, tested, and ready for use Provide off-site service and support calls 3-4 days per week Assist in managing daily tasks and keeping team members on track Your Qualifications Prior hands-on experience in a warehouse, shop, or field service environment preferred We’re looking for someone who takes pride in rolling up their sleeves and getting things done. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Basic mechanical aptitude; ability to perform minor repairs Able to successfully pass pre-employment drug test and background check Comfortable with physical labor (lifting, loading, etc.) Ability to lift and carry heavy loads of at least 50 lbs. or more Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for off-site work; DOT license a plus Positive, can-do attitude and flexibility in day-to-day responsibilities Air Filtration Systems, LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
