Location: Livonia, MI Position Summary: We are a dedicated organization within the Life Safety industry seeking an individual with excellent communication and organizational skills to perform daily scheduling activities for our field service team throughout Southeastern Michigan. Additional responsibilities may also include some administrative and quote writing duties. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Receive requests from internal and external customers and process the request efficiently and appropriately. Work with customers to define scope of work and scheduling demands to assign the proper technician to the work order. Gather support documentation from team members to provide clear definition of assignment requirements to technicians. Create Service Requests outlining equipment needs, and other site requirements. Manage schedule changes and available resources. Occasionally generate reports and other documents in support of department team members. Qualifications High school diploma. A valid motor vehicle driver’s license. Must have experience scheduling external services such as plumbing, electrical, home improvement or other service businesses . Should have experience scheduling service work performed at businesses, municipalities, medical facilities, light industrial buildings and apartments/condos . Thorough knowledge of MS Office Software, Word, Excel, etc. Experience with routing or mapping software. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
