Service Manager

Overview Rainier Concrete is seeking an experienced and highly organized construction yard and equipment manager to oversee the daily operations of our construction yard, fleet and equipment inventory. The ideal candidate will ensure equipment is properly maintained, tracked, and available to support construction projects while maintaining a safe, efficient, and organized yard environment. This position requires mechanical knowledge, inventory management skills, and the ability to effectively work with field supervisors, vendors, and management. Duties Manage all daily construction yard operations. Maintain accurate records of equipment, tools, materials, and fleet assets. Coordinate equipment assignments and transportation to and from job sites. Schedule and oversee preventative maintenance and repairs for company vehicles, equipment, and tools. Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment safety and operational readiness. Track equipment utilization and recommend replacement or disposal of underperforming assets. Manage relationships with equipment vendors, repair facilities, and rental companies Maintain inventory levels of consumables, parts, tools, and supplies. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of construction equipment, fleet management, or yard management experience. Knowledge of trucks, trailers, tools, and concrete related equipment Experience managing maintenance schedules and repair programs. Strong organizational and inventory control skills Ability to read and understand equipment manuals, inspection reports, and work orders Proficiency with Microsoft Office and equipment tracking software. Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record. Expected hours: No less than 25.0 per week Work Location: In person
