Job Summary and Qualifications The Service Line Clinical Resource Director (CRD) serves as the enterprise clinical and economic owner for an assigned clinical service line. The role provides focused subject-matter expertise and strategic leadership for service-line performance, including procedure economics, utilization, physician variation, supplier and contract strategy, standardization and measurable outcomes. The CRD uses clinical value analysis and evidence-based decision making to improve procurement, utilization and cost efficiency for medical supplies, implants, devices, biologics, pharmaceuticals and related technologies. The Service Line CRD partners with Regional Support Clinical Resource Directors (RSCRDs), physicians, clinical leaders, Supply Chain Operations and other enterprise functions to translate service-line strategy into action. This role is distinct from regional support: the Service Line CRD owns the clinical and economic strategy for the assigned portfolio, while RSCRDs coordinate regional intake, execution and follow-through. The position requires confidence, effective communication, independent action, initiative, business acumen and the ability to influence physician and stakeholder adoption across the organization.
