Role Description The Service Dispatcher role at Graco Mechanical is a full-time, on-site position based in Houston, TX. The Service Dispatcher is responsible for receiving service requests, answering incoming calls, and accurately gathering information from customers. This role coordinates and schedules technicians, assigns work orders, and updates dispatch logs to ensure timely service delivery across the company’s service area. The Service Dispatcher communicates with field personnel throughout the day to adjust schedules, relay job details, and monitor job progress. The role also includes maintaining customer records, confirming appointments, and supporting the service team to help ensure customer satisfaction and efficient operations. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Phone Etiquette and Communication skills to interact clearly and professionally with customers and technicians. Candidates should possess Dispatching experience and the ability to manage schedules, prioritize work orders, and coordinate multiple service calls. Candidates should possess Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills to handle inquiries, resolve concerns, and support a positive customer experience. Candidates should possess basic computer literacy, including proficiency in dispatch or CRM software, email, and data entry. Relevant qualifications include prior experience in service dispatching or a similar coordinator role, particularly in mechanical, HVAC, or related trades. Additional beneficial qualifications include strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and reliability in on-site attendance. High school diploma or equivalent is required; further technical or administrative training is a plus.
