Service Coordinator

Job Summary As a Service Coordinator, you’ll keep transportation and logistics activities moving by coordinating dispatch, managing service requests, and maintaining accurate shipment and fleet information. You’ll communicate with customers, drivers, carriers, and internal teams to support timely, organized service. Your impact: Clear coordination helps customers receive dependable updates while drivers and operations teams stay aligned. Duties Coordinate dispatch and road transportation operations using transportation management systems and vehicle dispatch software; Oracle Transportation Management experience is a plus. Manage multi-line phone systems, handle phone calls professionally, and provide responsive customer service. Enter and verify shipment, freight, shipping and receiving, and fleet data; maintain accurate records through data entry and typing. Support supply chain, transportation planning, 3PL (third-party logistics), and fleet management activities. Share timely internal communications and use analysis skills to identify service issues; follow applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Experience Strong communication, phone communication, phone etiquette, and organizational skills. Familiarity with logistics, transportation management, freight, and road transportation operations. Experience with Microsoft Office and transportation management systems; Oracle Transportation Management knowledge is preferred. GIS (geographic information systems) and GPS (global positioning system) familiarity is helpful. Dispatching, customer service, shipping and receiving, or 3PL experience is an advantage.
