Senior Warehouse Associate - Receiver - 1st Shift (#8df0)

Become a Key Player as a Senior Warehouse Associate - Receiver You will support the receiving and outbound operations for the organization’s warehouse as a first-shift member of a growing receiving team. You will handle inbound freight, prepare outbound loads, and maintain warehouse organization to meet KPIs and customer requirements. This is an onsite role (first shift) at the LA warehouse site. Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team Receive goods: offload/load vehicles, check paperwork, weigh, measure, book in freight, and report discrepancies or damages Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts and use hand jacks for material movement Palletize, stretch-wrap, band, and stage cargo to maintain safe and orderly warehouse flow Prepare outbound loads: match paperwork with freight, label, and prepare ULDs Accurately sign off Bills of Lading and verify counts/damages Use warehouse booking-in sheets or the Warehouse Management System to organize inventory and shipments Execute quality expectations per SOPs, including reworking or recouping freight as required Perform general housekeeping and weekly bond checks to maintain facility standards Follow DFT procedures and maintain building perimeter security where applicable Assist with training new staff and recommend process improvements Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role Minimum 6 months of prior warehouse operations experience with this organization (site-specific requirement) Ability to operate sit-down forklift (and other warehouse equipment) and perform manual handling tasks Be at least 18 years old and able to stand/walk for long periods, frequently bend/twist/reach, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs Ability to work flexible hours/days as site requires Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed established KPI/performance standards Here's What Else Might Help You Out High school diploma or GED Previous external warehouse or freight forwarder experience Familiarity with Bills of Lading, Shipping Manifests, Delivery Orders, and bonded import freight handling Ability to speak Spanish Pay Range $20.00/hour Ready to Make Your Mark?
