Senior Supply Chain Security Manager

Langham Logistics is looking for a Senior Manager, Supply Chain Security to serve as the enterprise owner of physical and supply chain security across our entire warehouse, transportation, and brokerage network. Based at our headquarters in Indianapolis, Indiana , this executive-facing leader will drive our risk-based, defense-in-depth strategy—championing multi-site TAPA certifications, protecting product chain-of-custody, and turning operational security into a core commercial differentiator. What You’ll Own This is not a back-office administration or basic guard-management role. You are the operational guardian of our customer assets, regulatory standing, and brand integrity: Enterprise Security Strategy: Architect, deploy, and govern our multi-year physical and supply chain security roadmap. Set minimum corporate security baselines while engineering enhanced controls for high-value biologics, pharmaceuticals, and sensitive cargo. TAPA Program Ownership (FSR, TSR, & FBSR): Lead the multi-site initiative to achieve and sustain TAPA FSR Level A certification across all applicable warehouse facilities. Maintain and recertify Langham’s existing TAPA TSR certification for our company asset fleet. Spearhead the roadmap to secure and sustain TAPA FBSR certification across our freight brokerage operations. Site Leadership & Security Network: Mentor, train, and direct site security representatives across our warehouse campus network, standardizing incident escalation, daily patrols, and access governance. Physical Systems & Advanced Tech: Own standards and maintenance for electronic access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, alarms, gate barriers, intelligent video analytics, and perimeter design across new and existing builds. Investigations & Incident Response: Direct root-cause investigations into attempted theft, diversion, unauthorized access, or seal discrepancies, partnering cross-functionally with Quality, Legal, HR, clients, and law enforcement. Customer & Commercial Support: Serve as the credible subject-matter expert during life sciences client audits, customer QBRs, and enterprise RFP proposals. What We’re Looking For Experience: 7+ years of progressively responsible physical and supply chain security leadership, ideally within 3PL warehousing, transportation, pharmaceutical/biotech, or highly regulated distribution networks. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Supply Chain, Criminal Justice, Business, Risk Management, or equivalent practical experience. Certifications & Standards: Direct hands-on experience implementing TAPA standards (FSR Level A, TSR, FBSR) strongly preferred. Professional certifications such as ASIS CPP (Certified Protection Professional) or PSP (Physical Security Professional) highly valued. Practical application of C-TPAT, ISO 28000, ISO 9001 , and CPTED (Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design) principles. Regulated Acumen: Deep familiarity with cGMP/GDP guidelines, temperature-sensitive chain of custody, and cargo theft counter-measures. Executive Presence: Proven ability to command the room with executive leadership, collaborate smoothly with warehouse floor associates, and build confidence with enterprise pharmaceutical clients.
