Blunt sits at the intersection of fashion, accessories, culture, and self-expression, and we’re rapidly expanding across new products and categories. As our owned inventory, supplier network, and purchasing commitments grow, we’re looking for a Senior Supply Chain Manager to lead the day-to-day supply-chain function and build the planning discipline needed for our next stage of scale. The Role You’ll own the operating system behind Blunt’s inventory, purchasing, supplier execution, and inbound logistics. This role is responsible for answering the questions that materially affect both growth and cash: What should we buy? When should we buy it? How much should we carry? Where are we exposed to stockouts or overstock? When is expedited freight actually worth it? You’ll partner closely with Product Development, Ecommerce, Finance, our fulfillment partners, and overseas suppliers while directly guiding the execution work already happening on the team. What You’ll Do Serve as Blunt’s functional supply-chain lead , owning the day-to-day operation and continued development of the function with broad decision-making responsibility. Lead Blunt’s end-to-end supply chain after Product Development handoff, with responsibility across demand planning, inventory, purchasing, supplier production, inbound logistics, fulfillment-partner coordination, and inventory controls. Build and improve supply-chain capabilities that support a fast-growing consumer brand while balancing product availability, working capital, cost, speed, and reliability. Lead operational relationships with Blunt’s overseas suppliers and manufacturing partners, holding them accountable for pricing, MOQs, capacity, production schedules, committed ship dates, shortages, and reliable delivery. Lead demand planning and replenishment across Blunt’s assortment, improving forecast accuracy and visibility into potential stockouts, overstock, and dead stock. Set inventory targets, weeks of cover, reorder points, and purchase quantities that support availability while balancing cash, lead times, seasonality, and changing consumer demand. Build inventory plans for major commercial moments including BFCM, holiday, device launches, promotions, and major product launches . Own purchasing strategy and pressure-test meaningful POs before cash is committed, maintaining clear visibility into on-hand, inbound, committed, and planned inventory exposure. Evaluate Blunt’s supplier, freight, fulfillment, and logistics network to identify opportunities to improve service, scalability, reliability, and cost. Lead supplier and vendor negotiations that improve supply-chain economics across pricing, MOQs, payment terms, capacity, freight, and related services. Make freight decisions across air, sea, express, DDP, and split shipments based on urgency, cost, stockout risk, and working-capital tradeoffs. Maintain accurate landed-cost visibility across product, packaging, freight, duties, and related fees, and identify opportunities to reduce total cost. Own inventory visibility from ordered → produced → shipped → received → available , reconciling discrepancies and maintaining reliable Blunt-owned records when external systems do not agree. Partner closely with Product Development, Ecommerce, Finance, the founders, fulfillment partners, and suppliers while maintaining primary ownership of Blunt’s day-to-day supply-chain decisions. Direct and develop Blunt’s supply-chain purchasing support, setting clear operating standards, escalation rules, reporting cadence, and supplier follow-up expectations.
