Senior Supply Chain Management Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Senior SCM Specialist to independently manage and optimize assigned supply chain functions across U.S. and Canada operations. This role combines ownership of key operational workstreams with analytical decision-making, vendor oversight, inventory and cost optimization, and supply chain initiatives supporting business expansion. The Senior SCM Specialist will evaluate operational performance and business risks, exercise judgment within delegated authority, develop and implement improvement initiatives, and coordinate with 3PL partners, customs brokers, HQ, Finance, Retail, E-commerce, MD, and RX/Lab teams. The position reports to SCM management and remains accountable for operational execution, service levels, and project outcomes. What You'll Do Manage assigned U.S. and Canada supply chain workflows, including inbound receiving, warehousing, B2C/B2B fulfillment, retail replenishment, RX/Lab transfers, and returns. Prioritize operational activities, monitor order accuracy and service levels, and resolve or escalate shipment and fulfillment exceptions. Maintain SOPs and operating controls to support consistent, efficient execution across channels. Support logistics preparation and execution for store openings, remodels, pop-ups, product launches, and new sales channels. Oversee day-to-day performance of assigned 3PL providers, carriers, and freight forwarders; evaluate service quality, warehouse capacity, and operational requirements. Coordinate domestic and international parcel, air, ocean, and LTL/FTL shipments, including pickup, delivery, tracking, and exception resolution. Review logistics costs, vendor charges, and service performance; recommend improvements and make operational decisions within delegated authority. Develop and support inventory control strategies across 3PL, retail, office/Lab, and returns locations; monitor accuracy and coordinate cycle counts and reconciliations. Investigate inventory discrepancies and coordinate approved adjustments and corrective actions. Use ERP, OMS/BO, WMS, and shipping platforms to validate transactions and resolve data, interface, and synchronization issues with internal teams. Coordinate import/export documentation and customs-clearance activities with brokers, forwarders, HQ, and vendors. Support tariff, duty, product classification, and importer documentation reviews; maintain accurate shipment records and escalate compliance concerns. Maintain complete shipment records and promptly escalate documentation gaps or compliance concerns. Lead assigned supply chain workstreams for new store openings, remodels, pop-ups, e-commerce, wholesale expansion, and product launches. Plan logistics requirements, coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, and ensure operational readiness for new initiatives. Analyze SCM KPIs, vendor performance, operating costs, capacity, and business risks; provide actionable reports and recommendations to SCM management. Identify cost-saving and efficiency opportunities, investigate recurring issues, and develop and implement approved process improvements within delegated authority.
