Senior Supply Chain Analyst
ALPINEJob Description: Position Summary The Senior Supply Chain Analyst analyzes supply chain performance, inventory, purchasing, demand, supplier performance, and operational data to identify opportunities for cost reduction, improved inventory management, increased efficiency, and better customer service. The role partners with Procurement, Operations, Finance, Sales, and suppliers to support the data-driven supply chain decisions. Responsibilities Sourcing Analyst – 45% Conducting strategic analysis to identify sourcing cost reductions Identify new strategic sourcing opportunities Implementing supplier contracts and stocking agreements with 80 vendors Develop, maintain, and review contract documentation for updates Identifying vendors during shortages and/or No Source situations Leading Ad hoc projects – scanner project Production Planning – 45% Creating production orders for equipment orders and serving as a back up for Service orders in the event Responsible for owning & updating the production schedule (SmartSheet). This includes deciding if changes can be made to the production plan. Gathering data to schedule and lead the SOP meeting with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, and BUM to determine MRD Conducting daily/weekly counts of critical parts and communicating any potential risks to buyers Validating and communicating BOM errors to Engineering KPI & Reporting – 10% Develop & maintain supplier score card Automate daily, weekly, monthly KPIs Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field required Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience required Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment required Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Ability to travel up to 5% ITW is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
