What you'll do Move mechanical fabrication parts from new product introduction to production. Qualify new suppliers for the approved supplier list. Stand up tooling and production lines at supplier sites and lead capacity ramps. Run statistical process control reviews. Close out root-cause and corrective actions with suppliers. What you bring 6+ years in supplier quality or supplier industrialization. A bachelor's in engineering or supply chain; mechanical or materials engineering preferred. Expertise in mechanical fabrication, CAD and GD&T. Nice to have Defense or aerospace experience, high-mix low-volume production, startup pace. Demand & Supply Planner Type: Direct hire, full-time · Base: $112,000–$149,000 + equity · Clearance: None required; ability to obtain U.S. Top Secret preferred · Travel: Up to 10% VDS is recruiting a planner to own material flow for networked defense product lines, from raw materials to finished goods shipped to customers. What you'll do Manage daily demand signals, orders and inventory levels. Resolve supply issues with engineering, purchasing and manufacturing. Lead sales and operations planning for assigned product lines. Align forecasts with business development plans. Maintain MRP settings and master data. What you bring 3+ years in supply chain or production with complex assemblies. A bachelor's in a technical or business field; master's preferred. Hands-on ERP (Oracle or NetSuite) and Salesforce experience. Nice to have SQL, Tableau or Power BI, Blue Yonder, Lean or Six Sigma.
