Senior Strategic Sourcing Specialist

Job Description As a Senior Strategic Sourcing Specialist here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a crucial role in driving the procurement of materials and services in alignment with business guide. You will be accountable for establishing and executing procurement strategies to achieve the lowest total cost, reduce working capital, and ensure supply continuity. In this role, you will impact the company by driving performance-driven commodity and category supply strategies, managing supplier performance, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. You will also contribute to the growth and success of the business by identifying cost-saving opportunities, implementing value engineering initiatives, and eliminating sole/single sources. You will report directly to our Director Strategic Sourcing, and you’ll work out of one of our Phoenix, AZ or Tempe, AZ locations on a Hybrid work schedule. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Drive and execute Annual and Strategic Plan with supporting strategies. Lead critical supplier recoveries — mobilize cross-functional teams, solve complex capacity and execution. constraints, reduce past dues, and restore On-Time to Request (OTTR) performance. Right and Fast execution of strategies to align with business Growth and New Product Introductions. Manage Category and Commodity Strategies including spend analysis, Benchmarking, Cost, Market Analysis, and Global Technology/Economic trends. Build new relationships with key Supplier Leadership. Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Technology, Business, Operations, Finance, and Quality and other Honeywell Businesses. Lead Supplier selection, RFQ and RFI process, Negotiation, Contracting, and supplier performance processes. Apply effective Sourcing supplier risk assessment methodologies to ensure supplier continuity. Improve Working Capital through Payment Terms extensions, Payment cycle optimization, Vendor Managed Inventories. Inventory and Lead time reductions. Qualifications YOU MUST HAVE 5+ years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, or Finance Proficient in Data analytics tools such as Excel Self-starter who takes the initiative, and is well organized, detail oriented and self-motivated preferred WE VALUE Extensive experience in sourcing and procurement Working and/or guiding in Matrix and complex Team Environments Project Management and/or Contract Management Experience Professional Certifications in Project/Supply Chain/ Procurement/Contract Management Team guide experience in Supply Management/Sourcing/Procurement/Business Demonstrated Business and financial acumen Experience with SAP, E Sourcing Platforms, Request for Quotation Tools, and Project Management Master's Degree in Supply Chain or Business Administration Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
