Senior Sourcing & Production Manager – Home Textiles (Chinese Speaking)

Company Description Conquest Sport Group is building its home textiles division and seeking a seasoned operator who knows fabrics, costing, and sourcing inside out. This is a high-responsibility, hands-on role—not for someone used to delegating to a large team, but for a professional who thrives on doing it all, from fabric sourcing to final shipment. What you’ll do:• Own sourcing and costing for bedding, towels, rugs, and decorative textiles • Negotiate directly with overseas factories (primarily China) and manage vendor relationships • Review prototypes, ensure quality standards, and solve production challenges independently • Coordinate timelines, shipments, and compliance without relying on a large support team • Partner with leadership to drive margin, efficiency, and growth in the division What we’re looking for:• 7+ years in textiles sourcing/production management at a senior level • Fluent in English. Chinese is a big plus. with strong negotiation skills in both • Deep knowledge of fabrics, mills, and global sourcing tricks of the trade • Proven ability to manage end-to-end production independently • Strong costing, margin protection, and vendor management discipline • Experience in home textiles or soft goods is required Location: Brooklyn, NY (on-site)This is not a role for someone used to delegating to a team of fifty. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site position in Brooklyn, NY, for a Production Manager specializing in wholesale importing. The Production Manager will oversee and manage production schedules, facilitate communication with overseas manufacturers (primarily in China), and ensure adherence to quality standards and timelines. Responsibilities include coordinating shipments, ensuring compliance with regulations, managing vendor relationships, and addressing production challenges. This role also includes reviewing prototypes, managing cost negotiations, and working cross-functionally with internal teams to meet business goals.
