Senior Scheduler
E2 Consulting Engineers, LPAbout the Organization: E2 Consulting Engineers, LP (E2) is a professional services firm established in 1988 specializing in a full spectrum of engineering services including, project engineering and design, federal base operations and infrastructure support services, gas pipeline construction and inspection services, environmental consulting and remediation, and information technology services. At E2, we value safety, innovation and collaboration, and we are dedicated to excellence. Overview: The Senior Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, analyzing, and reporting integrated project schedules for a portfolio of electric transmission, substation, and utility infrastructure projects. This role supports both greenfield and brownfield capital projects by providing advanced scheduling expertise, schedule risk analysis, forecasting, earned value management, progress measurement, and project controls reporting. The Senior Scheduler utilizes Primavera P6, Oracle Unifier, and related project controls systems to support project planning, performance tracking, financial forecasting, and executive reporting. Responsibilities: Schedule Development and Management Develop and maintain detailed Primavera P6 schedules for complex facility, and utility infrastructure projects and sub-stations. Develop cost- and resource-loaded schedules and integrate schedule progress with cost information to support forecasting, resource planning, cash-flow projections, and Earned Value Analysis. Develop integrated project schedules from approved scope, project execution plans, engineering deliverables, procurement requirements, construction sequencing, and contractual milestones. Establish and maintain approved project baseline schedules and perform current-versus-baseline analysis to identify milestone movement, schedule variance, and developing areas of concern. Integrate EPC and contractor schedules, subcontractor schedules, and schedule fragments into the overall project and program master schedules while maintaining appropriate schedule logic and coding structures. Integrate Primavera P6 data into other platforms, such as Oracle Unifier, K2, SAP, IBM Planning Analytics. Maintain compliance with established Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), project codes, global codes, calendars, templates, and scheduling procedures across projects and programs. Schedule Analysis and Risk Management Analyze schedules for compression and recovery opportunities and work with Project Managers, construction teams, engineering, procurement, and contractors to develop mitigation and recovery strategies. Conduct Time Impact Analysis (TIA) by developing and inserting schedule fragments to evaluate the prospective impact of scope changes, design modifications, unforeseen field conditions, procurement delays, and other project events. Evaluate potential schedule impacts associated with design changes, procurement delays, construction constraints, contractor performance, and field conditions. Perform comprehensive schedule delay analysis using Primavera P6 to identify, quantify, and assess delays affecting critical and near-critical paths, contractual milestones, and forecast completion dates. Perform detailed Critical Path Method (CPM) analysis to identify critical and near-critical activities, schedule constraints, float erosion, emerging delays, and potential impacts to key project milestones. Perform Earned Value Analysis and evaluate planned value, earned value, actual costs, schedule performance, cost performance, and forecast trends to support management decision-making. Perform routine schedule QA/QC assessments, including reviews of logic, open ends, constraints, excessive float, negative float, out-of-sequence progress, activity durations, calendars, coding, and compliance with scheduling standards. Provide timely schedule analysis and recommendations to project leadership regarding potential delays, resource constraints, sequencing issues, and milestone r…
