Job Title: Senior SAP EWM AMS Consultant Location: Mundelein, Illinois (Chicago Area) Duration: Long-Term Contract Experience: 15–20 Years Work Model: Hybrid – Onsite Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday Job Summary Seeking a Senior SAP EWM Consultant with 15–20 years of overall SAP experience and mandatory SAP AMS delivery and transition experience . The consultant will lead SAP EWM support operations, manage service delivery and SLAs, and ensure a smooth transition from the incumbent support team. Mandatory Skills 15–20 years of overall SAP experience. Strong hands-on SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) expertise. Mandatory SAP AMS experience in support, incident management, problem management, and SLA compliance. AMS transition experience as a receiver, including knowledge transfer, transition governance, and stabilization. Experience with both Decentralized and Embedded EWM. Strong functional knowledge of inbound/outbound logistics, warehouse processes, HU management, wave management, RF framework, and storage control. Experience with SAP S/4HANA and integrations with TM, GTS, QM, and 3PL systems. Strong stakeholder management and coordination with onsite/offshore teams. Key Responsibilities Lead SAP EWM AMS delivery, ensuring SLA compliance and operational stability. Manage incidents, problems, changes, releases, and root cause analysis. Lead transition activities as the receiving team, including knowledge transfer, documentation, risk identification, and stabilization. Provide functional support for warehouse operations and SAP EWM integrations. Coordinate with business stakeholders, client IT teams, and offshore support teams. Drive continuous improvement, minor enhancements, automation, and performance optimization. Preferred Skills ITIL-based service management practices. SAP S/4HANA Embedded EWM migration or implementation exposure. Warehouse automation integration. Team mentoring and global AMS delivery experience.
